Mezzet Restaurant - (Near , South East)

4 /5 Zuz K: Ive been dining in this restaurant for the past 5 years on various occasions. Deliciously tasty food with good presentation is what brings me back. Fabulous authentic finger licking Moutabal is my favourite. However on my last visit, I noticed odd odour in the restaurant reminding me of unpleasant musty, damp-wood smell, stale, earthy, like wet soil or old basement like smell. Can anything be done about it as it really spoils otherwise perfect restaurant? Thank you

4 /5 MOHAMMAD RAFIQ: A great dining experience! The restaurant had a lovely ambiance with a welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the service was equally commendable. The falafel, in particular, stood out — they were incredibly fresh and soft. The rest of the dishes were just as good, making the entire meal enjoyable. Highly recommended!

5 /5 Taxis Royal (Royal Taxis Lichfield): Really good food, service, and value for money. All staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The halal food is also a plus. I highly recommend it. I will come again.

2 /5 Talya Stone: I am really sorry to leave this review but honestly can not believe the prices here for the quality of the food. We had the set menu and the meat in the lamb shawarma was tough and gristly so much so that various pieces had to be spat out. Would not expect this when paying almost £60 for 2 people! I have had better street food at a fraction of the price. When we let the waiting staff know about this they seemed to not really be that bothered though they said they would tell the chef there was no further comment or attempt to remediate the situation. Such a shame there are much better options to go to in the area serving middle eastern cuisine that would be more worthy of the price tag. No surprise there was hardly anyone there on a Saturday afternoon!
