5 /5 Anne Murray: We visited before attending a nearby funeral, and were planning a sandwich lunch or similar. The sweet and savoury pastries looked delicious, but we were amazed to find no less than six different hot dishes from grilled chicken to fish or beef casserole, with side dishes of vegetables, rice and beans. All ready to go, no waiting. It was all absolutely delicious, and served in very generous portions. We finished with excellent coffee and hot chocolate, so had a fab, freshly cooked lunch for £15. Friendly service, very clean surroundings, clearly lots of happy regular customers. What a find!

Hayley Carroll We stopped in to grab drinks between trains and learned that the samosas they sell are homemade. Decided to try a lamb samosa and they may have been one of the best samosas Ive ever had, which was a very pleasant surprise. Not to mention they had fairly priced drinks as well.

Gloria Jin Came here for a Sunday roast dinner and a pint. We arrived before 5:30 and they had run out of the chicken and lamb, so we ended up getting the beef and mushroom Wellington. The portion of food was great, and it really hit the spot. Service was fantastic!
