Monellis is much more than just a pizzeria — it’s a little corner of Italy brought to life with passion by Frankiey and Francesca, two wonderful people who put their hearts into everything they do. From the moment you walk in, you feel at home: the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of genuine smiles. The pizza is outstanding, with a light dough and top-quality ingredients — just like in Italy. Every bite shows their dedication and love for authentic Italian tradition. The other dishes on the menu are also delicious, made with care and fresh ingredients. The service is impeccable — friendly, attentive, and full of warmth. Frankie and Francesca truly make every guest feel special, and that’s what makes Monellis so unique. I highly recommend Monellis to anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience in Hastings. 5 /5 Martina Gilli: As a native Italian and teacher of Italian, AND a vegan, I am very fussy in terms of my pizza purveyors. Monellis lives up to the hype. Wonderful sourdough pizzas with plenty of options for meat eaters and vegans alike. They also do smaller sandwiches if for some (inconceivable) reason you dont want pizza. Really tasty vegan mozzarella by the way! And the staff! Theyre all Italian speakers and they will absolutely celebrate you speaking in Italian with them. All the tables around us were Italian folks too - truly the mark of an approved Italian pizzeria. Cant wait to come back!

5 /5 Lily Treen: Me and my family have been coming here for years now, it’s our favourite pizza place. The food every time is so flawless and comes out with such a beautiful presentation. The service is so lovely, everyone’s always so polite and thinking about their customers. On my most recent stop they gave my brother a bib for his calebreze, he had a white t-shirt. We didn’t even think of that! Lastly, the atmosphere feels so homey, from the pictures to the smell of sourdough and tomato sauce, it’s amazing. I recommend this to everyone as their menu has a range of foods that suits people of all preferences. Definitely coming here for the next years to come as well.
