5 /5 Mark Ogden: Stopped in for an early evening meal and was thoroughly impressed. The portions are healthy and every dish was extremely tasty.
I opted for the Chicken Everest (a chef’s special), Tarka Daal, Pilau Rice, and a Chapati. The Chicken Everest was a standout with a perfect balance of spices; I requested extra green chillies, and the chef added them with just the right touch. Even without the extra heat, the flavors would have been excellent.
The rice was better seasoned and finished than your typical pilau, and the chapati was truly exceptional. Service was friendly and the decor is tasteful. Since it was 5:00 PM, it was very quiet, but the traditional music made for a lovely, relaxed backdrop. Highly recommended!
