5 /5 Fallon Lindor: i have eaten in as well as having take away. i am absolutely in love with the Deli section(both hot and cold selection)!!!! a great healthy alternative and so filling. The ladies that have served me in there are so nice x
5 /5 Peterowsky: Absolutely stellar breakfast. Lots of options for someone who really likes spicy food. And service from Macy was grand, they are very helpful and friendly.
2 /5 Helen Tran: Were wondering why the rating is so polarised and now we understand. The food price and quality don’t match. The meals were prepared with zero care. Ham in Eggs Benedict was visibly hand torn which doesn’t look very appealing. Egg was overcooked. French toast was a nice brioche but soggy in the middle, probably undercooked. Staff didn’t seem very helpful. We payed a little too much for this meal
5 /5 Pippa Newton: Had a celebratory breakfast in here by myself. Staff were super helpful, very friendly and polite. They presented as very happy in the workplace too. The food was so fresh and delicious. My smoothy was full of flavours that complimented each other. Great place at sensible price.
5 /5 Sar H: Had a lovely breakfast here. So glad i stumbled upon this place. It was a lovely atmosphere and the food on the counter looked fresh and delicious. I ordered a banana porridge which was lovely and healthy. It was packed with seeds and fruits. The portion was massive, i stayed full for hours! Well worth £8.75.
John Downs Dinner for two on a quiet Thursday night. Very good food..the sole exceptional, the cottage pie delicious. The menu had a good mix of interesting dishes..."British" cuisine..in a very good way. Drinks reasonably priced for central London. Very close to Cannon Street station but tucked away off the main road, and below ground. Quirky decor that I found very appealing. Attentive service from staff who know their dishes. Note...not open at weekends...this is in the commercial part of town! Highly recommended for couples, small groups and business meetings (they seemed to have a projector screen discreetly concealed...so maybe good for small group lunchtime meetings).
Jen Pallister Genuinely amazing experience. I am only back in the UK for a few days and my brother recommended this place to me. Wonderful service and exceptional food. I had whitebait to start and then a 7 oz rump with chips and peppercorn sauce. Truely divine and perfectly cooked. I also want to thank them for asking about my allergies and clearly marked my plates with a red dot and checked if I was ok with cross contamination due to the ingredient I am allergic to being in the kitchen. Fab experience. Id come back next time Im in the area.
Normallah Sandigan The place is really cozy, the staff are friendly and attentive. Liton, one of the staff in this restaurant recommended some nice places to visit, he’s really nice and another guy who took my order, his name is Sunu he is really friendly, joyful and recommended me a really nice soup that I never tried and it was really tasty. Worth the visit.
Y. Amazing Indian food packed with flavours! Love that they use fresh curry leaves in the soft crab dish, which also came with a small spicy aromatic dip. The beef marrow biryani was the best biryani I have ever had! Everything on the menu looked delicious! Service was excellent, waiters were kind, attentive and friendly! London has many good Indian options, this is def one of my top choices for the category of food..
Melissa Eisner I mean … sure, every pub boasts being the oldest in the UK, but I’m pretty sure this is the real deal. Beyond the history in a historic location, this pub is bomb.com. Great service, great menu. Loved the chicken wings, and the burger was fab! And who doesn’t love a good pint to wash it all down. Highly recommend!!!
