5 /5 Sarah Backshaw: Amazing restaurant and delicious food! My husband booked this for my birthday and what a treat it was. The atmosphere was cosy and everything tasted fresh and full of flavour. A special shoutout to our server Stacy who was so funny, friendly and attentive from start to finish. The service didn’t feel rushed at all and we truly felt completely looked after, nothing was too much of an ask. We will definitely be back! Thank you again

5 /5 Ros: Very nice restaurant and surprising for hotel food. Food was so full of flavour, I especially loved the mushrooms on the starters! You can really taste good ingredients and everything made with care. Remind me a little of home cooking but with something special also. The service was amazing, Stacy was so kind and funny and smiling all the time, checking if everything is ok and making us feel very comfortable. She has very good energy. I will 100% come back again. Everything was perfect, thank you so much!

5 /5 Richard Farley: Amazing dining experience at the new Oak Restaurant at Crazy Bear last night. The taster menu was incredible - so many interesting flavours and everything crafted to perfection. I added on the wine taster flight to go with the food, which was well worth it. The waiter/sommelier gave loads of info on the food and wine pairings and the wine itself, which really enhanced the experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant was perfect, although shame it was quite quiet on a Saturday evening - this place is yet to be discovered by the crowds! But its well worth a visit for a special occasion if youre a foodie.

5 /5 Me Me: Had a meal last night (12th March) for my husband birthday and I can honestly say it was the best meal/ experience we have had for a long time. The food was perfect and Osker gave such in-depth knowledge about the dishes we ordered. The guy really knows his stuff!!!! Above that he couldn’t do enough for us and ordered a surprise cake for my husband when we mentioned it was his birthday! All in all the place/ atmosphere/ food / staff were amazing! OSKER IS THE REAL MVP THERE! A real credit to the company.

Padron peppers dry and bitter and the bread, ordinary toast with the marmite butter (very rich and fatty -both not eaten) lamb skewers returned because it disintegrated on the plate (acknowledged by waiter) and the shin beef ‘frites’ sadly way too fatty and greasy ( both returned) and sadly even the truffle mash (luke warm and not creamy) as well as the buttered greens ( white cabbage and overcooked broccoli) which remained uneaten apart from tasting it. Staff excellent, atmosphere also really lovely. We had a nice portion of mixed nuts at the bar for dinner.. excellent. We’ll be back just not for the food.
