Rasa Street Restaurant N16 - (Near , South East)

4 /5 JoyC: My friends suggested to dine at this Indian place as they tried once before and love the food. It’s a small cosy place and so lucky we managed to get a table despite only booking it not long after the restaurant is opened on the Saturday. My friends ordered the paneer pepper fry for starter, was a bit spicy for me but a nice start to the meal. Got the signature kerala fish curry and the ghee rice for mains which were perfect together, very filling and lots of flavours despite fish not being my favourite food. I tried a bit of my friends’ Chana Masala and Paneer Butter Masala curry too and they were both amazing, even my Indian friends commented that the food are pretty authentic. The only downside is I feel the orders were a bit slow (apparently there was only one chef at the kitchen?!) and they forgot my drink order at first, had to remind them again for my drink before it was served.

2 /5 NALİN Toprak: Ive never experienced such poor service before. We arrived at 7:30 pm, placed our order by 8 pm, but had to constantly remind the waiters about our starters. Some starters arrived with the mains after a two-hour wait. Although the food tasted good initially, we experienced stomach burn later in the evening. Unsure if Ill return to this place given the overall experience.

4 /5 The Hungry Foodie: Small South Indian restaurant conveniently located on the high street opposite it’s popular sister restaurant. Food was tasty with the highlight being the freshly made paratha which was full of flaky, buttery goodness. To my disappointment dosa had been removed from the menu but overall I was happy with the food. The paneer pepper fry lived up to its reputation and brought a fiery heat I was expecting. In contrast, the paneer butter masala was creamy and aromatic but I was not pleased with the small amount of paneer that was in the dish. Service was friendly but food took a while to come out. Passion fruit drinks were also unavailable but none the less- the peach mocktail was refreshing.

1 /5 Yuss: Embarrassing! Very poor management for a busy Friday... They prioritize takeaways orders over seated customers and we waited over 1.5 hr for half our order...I saw 5 table leave in frustration and even a lady pour here wine back into the bottle..however, what food that did come out was fragrant and flavorful!
