5 /5 Serina Lynn: Absolutely loved this Korean restaurant! The fried chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with the perfect balance of seasoning and flavor. One of the best I’ve had! The spicy beef soup was rich, hearty, and full of depth. It had a comforting warmth with just the right level of spice, and the beef was generous and tender. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Quite busy on Thursday night recommend bookings in advance!

Even though it’s a BBQ restaurant, there’s barely any lingering smell inside — the ventilation system is excellent. On such a cold day, I had a bowl of ginseng chicken soup. The chicken was cooked just right, and the broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting. Highly recommended.

5 /5 Milly: Lost count of how many times I’ve been to Sagye. Whenever I crave Korean food, this is the first place that pops into my mind. Affordable, consistent quality, and always satisfying. I usually go to the Dog Island location, but this time tried the new one in Imperial Wharf—great spot by the Thames with a lovely neighborhood vibe. BBQ: All the grilled meats are reliable—just order and you won’t go wrong. Portions are generous and quality is solid for the price. • Pork Belly: Great marbling, perfect thickness, grills beautifully. Wrapped in lettuce with a bit of BBQ sauce—so satisfying. • Beef Tongue: A squeeze of lemon brings out its aroma—light, tender, slightly sweet. Addictive! • Bulgogi: Thin slices but not mushy, perfectly marinated, tender and flavorful. Korean Fried Chicken: Boneless (big plus), crispy but not greasy. Both sweet-spicy and garlic flavors are great, and portions are generous even for a small size. Tteokbokki: Chewy, soft rice cakes with a balanced sweet-spicy sauce—one bite and you can’t stop. Always reliable, tasty, and great value. Will keep coming back!

5 /5 Xu Yixin: Finally tried Sagye after having it in my saved list forever – totally lived up to the hype!Ordered the BBQ (beef tongue and beef strips), both super tender and juicy – dip them in sesame oil and its perfection. The spicy stir-fried pork was absolutely delicious, packed with flavour and so good with rice. Also loved the stir-fried glass noodles and the spicy beef rib kimchi jjigae – rich broth with fall-apart tender meat, perfect for a cold day. Service was lovely, portions generous, and the place has a cozy vibe with private rooms available. Around £30 per person. They have two branches – I went to the Imperial Wharf one, but theres also one in Canary Wharf. Will definitely be back!

5 /5 Ashleigh Whittaker: Firstly the location of this place was lovely, it’s right by the water and a lovely walk down the river. We came on the last Saturday before christmas and the area wasn’t busy at all, so that’s always a win. The restaurant itself was incredible, the food came out piping hot and the portion sizes were extremely generous. We chose to cook the meat ourselves on the BBQ at our table and it was a lot of fun and really delicious. The food was really flavourful and we can’t wait to come back and try some different dishes!
