4 /5 David Vicary: Saltys is an absolute gem of a seafood focussed restaurant. Both the exterior and interior were high end, with an excellent menu and wine options.
The food was extremely well cooked and presented, and tasted so fresh it could have jumped straight out of the nearby Solent onto the plate.
So why not a full 5 stars....the only alcohol free beer option was San Miguel, now for those whove tried it I know you wont be drinking it again! The bread sharing starter oddly, didnt turn up with any side plates and really needed oil and balsamic to dip into, especially if focaccia is in the mix!
Would I visit again, absolutely! Would like to see a few more options on the alcohol free side and maybe some more chilled music as it was erm rather eclectic given the quality of the food on the plate.
Great job guys, cant wait to return!
