San Marino Brixton - (Near Lambeth, South East)

5 /5 Sabrina S: I’ve been coming to San Marino in Brixton for years and it has always been one of my absolute favourite spots. It’s a family-run café and you really feel that warmth every time you walk in — the staff are genuinely welcoming and make you feel at home. The food is consistently amazing, especially the breakfasts, which are some of the best in Brixton. Everything is always fresh, well-cooked and generous, and it’s the kind of place you can rely on every single time. I’ve brought friends and family here over the years and it’s always the first place I recommend. I also love that they now have a bar in the evenings — the cocktails and atmosphere are brilliant and it’s become my go-to spot before and after gigs. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Always leave happy, full, and already planning the next visit.

1 /5 Kirsty Rixon: So San Marino used to be our fave place to have a full English breakfast. We visited today and were disappointed. I hadnt been in over a year to eat in (but had stopped for coffees recently and no issues) Very busy, so we sat downstairs in the "dining area" basically close to the toilets (very fitting) The breakfast itself... beans in a pot, cold toast, and what looked like the thinnest piece of streaky "bacon", sausages (not nice) some poorly looking mushrooms and some sad rocket, with 2 fried eggs swimming in grease. I wanted to send this back, but one of my friends who had paid didnt want the embarrassment. I asked the waitress about the bacon who seemed quite baffled herself as to why I was asking about it. We used to have many a breakfast here and they were lovely before ! Today was a let down,2 of us had the full english, and one had the halal breakfast which he did enjoy. It feels like corners are cut, food is cooked hurriedly maybe due to how busy it is, food quality has gone right down.. and the service we received wasnt great. Also a lady who looked like a manager - all in black taking a sneaky vape on her way up the stairs . I thought it was a non smoking/ vaping establishment being that they serve food. Such a shame that a once enjoyable place to eat has gone downhill.

4 /5 Imino1Donmega: Nice cafe. Super sweet canolis,good coffee. Halal breakfast was main attraction for fellow bike riders with me. I didnt indulge so I couldnt comment. Must be good as we rode 30 miles for it!. Nice place .seating outside. Cant really say much more than that. 1st time here and yes I woukd come again

5 /5 David W: We had brunch here on a weekday and were impressed by the large selection on the menu, the atmosphere and the quality and speed the food was delivered. The coffee was excellent, and the portions of food generous.

5 /5 Andrea Magliano: I had an absolutely wonderful time! San Marino food it’s amazing tasty and delicious. I highly recommend the Pasta and their Jack potatoes fully loaded! These are my choices, but the entire menu it’s really good. Breakfast in the morning with a super coffee it’s what you need to start your day. However what makes the difference is the High quality Service. The entire Staff it’s well trained polite and always helpful, very attentive to details too. Least but not last drinks and cocktails , with an accurate selection deserve a taste too, great happy hour deals, on beers too. Locations it also Great , attached to Brixton tube and train stations , located in the main road, lots seats space outside and Security at the door super friendly. Until next time . See ya!!!!
