William Blunt Possibly the most authentic Japanese food I’ve had in the UK. The food is delicious and fabulously well presented and the setting of the restaurant is excellent; very small, but feels just right for the experience. It’s not somewhere you go for a quick bite, it’s more of the centrepiece of the evening. Absolute love it, I’ve been here twice and would recommend to anybody.

Bee Ng So glad we found this Malaysian spot! The food is authentic, delicious and generously portioned. Highly recommend the char kuey teow and Penang curry mee. The wantan mee with char siew is also really good. Pair with milo ice and youll feel like youre in Malaysia!

Cars & Touring One of the best restaurant in Portsmouth. This is one of my home to home place. The kitchen has been renovated recently. The new dishes were undoubtedly successful. I opted for the chefs recommended -the duck. The presentation was a work of art with the dark cooker the to profession juicy inside and crisp outsiide. The mango reduction gave the dish an wonderful exotic twist. The bust of sweetness that complemented the rich flavour of the meat beautifully. The dish was accompaniment by some roasted sweet potato and some seasonal salad. It gave a satisfying balance and fulfillment. Definitely will go back and have more!

Fatima S. This was a stunning, top experience. Have been to steakhouse places but this really is a place of great food and ambiance, simple yet elegant, so relaxing that we’ve stayed nearly 2hours just chatting and enjoying the food. The reception desk was attentive. We went around half past one, the place was not crowded but later on crowd turned up. Food was served on time, the steak was really good. In addition, before the meal they have given us a beef-dripping popcorn which is really really good - this is a plus! Customer service was excellent, they were busy but very approachable, especially to Charde who has assisted us brilliantly! Also prices are reasonable and they do have a lunch-early-dinner menu available apart from the main menu. Located near the dockyard. A great recommendation! Parking (as in free parking) is quite difficult to find, but carpark is available behind the restaurant.

Christine and Julia, who served us during our visit, were both incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. Their positive attitude and friendly approach truly added a personal touch to our dining experience. The food was equally impressive — beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavour. The menu offered a good variety of options, and everything we ordered arrived on time and tasted delicious. It was clear that care had been taken in both preparation and presentation. Overall, Zizzi delivered not only great food but also outstanding service, thanks especially to Christine and Julia. Their hospitality made our visit memorable and enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience with excellent customer care.
