Shozna - (Near Kent, South East)

3 /5 Glen Horncastle: Was recommended to make a journey as its an Award Winning restaurant. Must say was dissapointed with the flavours of the food. Not saying it wasnt edible or acceptable, but Ive had tastier curries from Morrisons, Tesco etc at a LOT less cost. Four of us visited and we all agreed there was no wow factor in any of our starters, meals or sides over and above any local non award winning Indian restaurant/takeaway. Premises were nice, clean, staff were ok, but sadly the overall experience didnt meet the expectation.

4 /5 J H: First time dining here. I loved the range of options on the menu, many of which I hadnt seen before. The Mouchak Chicken was lovely, and the service was good. It is expensive, but I was glad to have been able to try new dishes. I appreciate I did come during the festive period, so expected it to be busy, but I feel there were too many tables squeezed in to what is already a small area. I struggled to hear my friend so it wasnt ideal in that respect.

5 /5 sarah bray: Luckily got in at 630pm on friday, food was delicious and served in good time, waiter was very helpful and recommended some good dishes. Thoroughly enjoyed our time their. when we was leaving it was starting to get very busy and I can understand why. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere. We will be back

5 /5 Adam Thring: If you dont know what to have for dinner, make this your first choice. Oh my goodness, there isnt enough space to write how much we loved coming here. The staff give big smiles and warm welcome. This was our first time visiting and made to feel we have been regulars. We sat upstairs and it is decorated beautifully, with nice chairs and surprisingly easy to walk around all the tables. Service was quick and polite. The menu has a lot of options all sounding better than the last. I had the Shozna special and it was the perfect amount of heat to compliment the flavours. Mum in-law had the Macurian (sorry cant remember its name exactly) its made with mango..... this was AMAZING. Absolutely great taste and will make it my next choice. The garlic naans are wonderful and again not too heavy on garlic and not doughy taste, everything we had just made to compliment the dishes perfectly. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

3 /5 James Taylor: Little disappointed at the curries flavour . Too much oil masked all those beautiful flavours . Had from here before and was really good. Actually travelled out my way to get it. Shame. Reduce oil in madrass
