5 /5 Kylie Higgins: Such a lovely brunch spot. This is our second time having breakfast and both occasions have been fantastic. The service was super friendly and the food was delicious. We had the French toast and the pancakes and they were both superb. Only tiny grumble would be to have some more of the lemon curd with the pancakes because it was so yum!

From the moment you step inside, youre greeted with warmth—not just from the beautifully lit space, but from the amazing owners who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Their passion for hospitality shines through in every detail. The decor is beautiful—bright and inviting, with lovely wooden tables and chairs that give the café a modern yet cozy charm. Large windows offer a pleasant view of the surrounding area, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal whether youre dining in or just soaking in the atmosphere. We ordered the Full English breakfast and the salmon and eggs, and both dishes were absolutely amazing. The food is clearly made with care—fresh, high-quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The eggs were perfectly poached, the salmon was rich and flavorful, and the Full English was hearty and satisfying, with everything tasting distinctly homemade. One of the best parts? Skylark is dog-friendly! We brought my dog along, and not only was she welcomed but the staff made a real fuss over her. It’s rare to find a place that balances fine dining with true pet-friendliness, but Skylark pulls it off effortlessly

The owners Daisy & Dylan were super friendly along with the waiting staff, Skylark was super cosy, the food was DELICIOUS and very good options for vegetarian & vegan. We had the French toast and the vegetarian full english (with vegan sausage) and it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had as a vegetarian! Also had a hot chocolate and the most delicious Honey Cinnamon Latte! This was a gifted meal via our Eastbourne Instagram page @eastbourne_insta but with no obligation to post or review… it was just simply that delicious I had to! Also as new parents, the fact they have a baby change in the toilet was great!

5 /5 Raven Monz: Fantastic spot in Eastbourne, our favourite place to go for brunch and can’t wait to try out the dinner menu soon! The pancakes were insane, really recommend the blueberry ones, cortado was spectacular and my girlfriend said she loved her pear juice. Thank you to the young man on the bar as his service was so lovely which is hard to find these days :)
