Victoria Carisimo Awesome new Thursday night in London! DJ Giio played amazing tunes, loved the venue and the staff. Definitely a great addition to the nightlife scene. Will be back!

Sanj Visited Christopher’s for lunch and dessert to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and as always, it didn’t disappoint. The food was lovely — we had the chicken burger, and the sauce was especially flavourful and really brought the dish together. The real standout, though, was the brioche French toast — consistently excellent and easily one of the best desserts on the menu. It was a nice touch having ‘Happy Birthday’ written on the plate, which made it feel special, even if it’s a shame they don’t do the sparklers anymore. The atmosphere was great, as it always is — lively, buzzing, and full of energy, which adds to the overall experience. A reliable spot for good food, great desserts, and a celebratory lunch.

Dash Zar 1 of the top 5 steaks Ive ever had, and excellent personal service from Dave. Definitely recommend it! Partly cooking your own steak on the hot rock is not new to me and adds to the experience.

Aswini Prabhakar We went to this new Srilankan/Indian restaurant in Ashford situated in Repton park. We found plenty of parking nearby, beautiful ambience, friendly staff and delicious menu custom made to your palate and spice levels. We loved the Butter chicken, beef ulathiyadhu with the softest homemade Porotta in Ashford. The Hyderabadi chicken kurma is greatly loved by kids. The Wattalappam had the perfect balance of coconut milk, jaggery and a hint of ginger. Will try the highly recommended Srilankan biriyani and veg thaal next time.

Buddhika Ranasinghe We had a great time with my family, and Veronica was our host. She was very kind and polite, and even spent a little time with my son, which was so nice of her. Oluwayomi Oni My recent visit to Sweet1ne Restaurant & Lounge was a truly rewarding experience. What immediately stood out was the incredible generosity of the servings—you certainly wont leave hungry! Every plate felt packed with value, and it’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in providing big portions of their soulful menu. Beyond the size, the food itself was fantastic. I could genuinely taste the soul and thought put into the preparation. From the flavors to the plating, the meal felt less like standard restaurant fare and more like home-cooked food made with genuine care. It’s clear they use quality ingredients and take the time to season and cook everything perfectly. The ambiance was welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a comfortable meal. My only reason for not giving a full five stars is reserving that top spot for truly flawless execution, but this is easily a solid 4-star experience and a must-try for anyone craving comforting, hearty soul food. Highly recommended!
