Tucked away at the back of Waitrose, it’s easy to miss if you’re just walking by, but trust me, it’s worth the detour. As soon as I approached the counter, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine friendliness from the staff. They were so welcoming and helpful, it instantly made the experience feel special. The sushi itself was fresh, beautifully made, and full of flavor. You can tell the team takes pride in their craft. Everything was neatly presented and tasted amazing—especially the salmon rolls and veggie options. It’s clear they use quality ingredients and prepare everything with care. What really stood out was the atmosphere. Even though it’s a kiosk inside a supermarket, the vibe was cheerful and inviting. The staff chatted with customers, offered recommendations, and made sure everyone felt looked after. It’s rare to find that kind of personal touch these days. If you’re in Tonbridge and love sushi, don’t overlook this spot. Just head into Waitrose and walk to the back—you’ll find a little slice of sushi heaven waiting for you. Highly recommended!

5 /5 Eric james: Absolutely perfect – this is how sushi is meant to be! Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and ready right on time for pickup. The fish was top quality, the rice perfectly seasoned, and each bite tasted clean and balanced. My son is usually a picky eater, but he loves their avocado maki and salmon maki – it’s become a bit of a family tradition now. The cucumber maki and California rolls are also favourites. The staff are always welcoming and go out of their way to be helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. Prices are very fair for the quality you get – definitely great value for money. Sushi Daily Tonbridge has quickly become our go-to spot whenever we want sushi, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Honestly, it’s almost a shame it’s tucked away inside Waitrose because more people need to know about this place. The rolls are perfect, the salmon nigiri is spot on, and the staff are always friendly. Excellent value for money and consistently high quality — easily one of Tonbridge’s best-kept secrets.
