Sushi Joe - (Near Sutton, South East)

5 /5 Tina Chung: We went for an early dinner on a Saturday night after moving into the area a few months ago. We had the omakase set 18 pieces, the sashimi don, tempura soft shell crab and two of their cocktails. It was the perfect amount of food for two and sitting in front of the chef area made the service quick and efficient. We will come back again and can highly recommend the restaurant for anyone wanting higher quality sushi.

5 /5 Annie: Excellent Japanese restaurant that makes you feel like you’ve stepped straight into Japan! The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly and caring. We’ve been to Sushi Joe a few times, and this time we chose it for a family celebration. We ordered a great mix of dishes — sushi, sashimi, tempura, eel don, and negimaguro don — and everything was beautifully fresh and delicious. Since the weather was quite cool, we also enjoyed some hot green tea, which was perfect. Even though it was cold outside, we couldn’t resist trying the matcha and black sesame ice creams — both were absolutely lovely and worth it! Thank you to the Sushi Joe team for the excellent food and service every time. We’ll definitely keep coming back and highly recommend this hidden gem in Cheam!

We did the omakase, and it was absolutely outstanding — every course was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavour. You can really feel the care and skill that goes into each dish. The atmosphere was relaxed yet special, and the chef made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. Important to note: the omakase should to be booked ahead via what’s app, but it is 100% worth it. Plus you save by booking ahead. If you’re even slightly considering it, do it — you won’t regret it. The whole experience took about 2 hours. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend

5 /5 Di Di: We had a fantastic meal here. Every dish was fresh and full of flavour. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Truly one of the best Japanese dining experiences I’ve had. Highly recommended!
