Sylva - (Near Lewisham, South East)

5 /5 May Myanmar: Very nice local restaurant in New Cross, went for Thursday evening (only day they are open for dinner) when they have a dinner menu. Shared plates, we had almost all the mains except beef carpaccio as was sold out by then. Would definitely recommend, service was efficient and staff were lovely. Our favourites: the bread and dips, cherry salad (excellent), Moroccan fish and glazed duck breast salad! We wish the fresh bread was slightly bigger though to mop up all the dips! Definitely will be back to try their breakfast/brunch!

5 /5 Natalie L: Had the most delightful experience at Sylvas. They’ve extended their opening hours so great to go after work!! We just had some drinks and gluten free sweat treats! The Torta is incredible, highly recommend. The menu had a great gluten free selection and our hostess Adi was very knowledgeable and attentive to us throughout our reservation. So delighted to have found Sylvas and will definitely be back!! (Especially for their festive selection for £25, looks like incredible value for money!) I’ve also added to the FindMeGlutenFree app so more gluten free people can find this hidden gem!!

5 /5 K J: This place is a total gem - my favourite place to eat in Deptford for sure. The food is all made fresh with the best ingredients and every dish I’ve tried at brunch and dinner was absolutely delicious. They also do divine freshly baked buns and cakes. The coffee is also amazing and there’s just a lovely ambience here. It’s all table service which makes it more relaxing and the staff are super friendly. Lovely outdoor seating as well and they accommodate mums and babies so well as they have plenty of high chairs and a very clean bathroom and baby change table. We also hired the place for a baby shower and the food was incredible as always. I absolutely love this place and can’t recommend it highly enough.
