Tasty African Food - (Near Barking and Dagenham, South East)

M 26 Its hard to understand why there are negative reviews about this takeaway because whenever I have received an order of large fish and chips, or a kebab, they always taste really good, plus my delivery always comes impeccably wrapped, and on time! The fish is always served in a box, chips are wrapped up separately and the whole order is in a branded bag... Attention to detail you will not get anywhere else! The chips always taste freshly cooked and the fish is wow wow wow!!  You always get a massive portion of fish, larger than any other place in the area! Lets just say if you have a big appetite you will not regret ordering this!!! This time around (I have ordered from here at least 6 times) I ordered fish and chips in pitta and I was not disappointed as usual. This takeaway is my go to for fish and chips mostly, but I do have other items on the menu and they taste great also.  All in all a fantastic takeaway!

They catered and provided waiters for our wedding of over 500 guests, and I honestly can’t put into words how grateful we are for the incredible service they delivered. From our very first conversation, Aunty Bola (the owner) made such a wonderful impression. She was kind, professional, and genuinely interested in understanding us as a couple and what we envisioned for our big day. She didn’t just take our brief and run with it, she took the time to ask questions, listen carefully, and make sure every detail was thought through. Her communication was always clear and timely, and it gave us so much confidence knowing that she had everything under control. And the food, wow! Every single dish was delicious. Guests kept telling us after the wedding how much they loved the food. The flavours, the presentation, the freshness, everything was top notch! You could really taste the care and passion that went into it. The service on the day was also amazing. The waitstaff were polite, attentive, and so efficient. Despite the size of the crowd, everything ran smoothly so there was no stress, no confusion, just great service and smiles all round. What really stood out to us was how the team respected the venue’s kitchen space. They actually left it cleaner than they found it, which says everything about their standards and professionalism. But honestly, what made the whole experience truly special was Aunty Bola herself. She’s one of the sweetest people you could ever hope to work with - calm, reassuring, and so full of warmth. You can tell she really loves what she does and cares deeply about making her clients happy. MimiAnn Kitchen didn’t just provide catering for our wedding, they helped create an experience. Everything about the food, the service, and the people behind it reflected excellence and heart. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. If you want your event to run smoothly, your guests to be raving about the food, and to work with someone who genuinely cares, look no further than MimiAnn Kitchen. They made our day unforgettable, and we’ll always be thankful.

Mohammed Islam I have been getting deliveries from Lara for some time and the food has been superb. If the food is that good after being delivered 15-20mins later imagine how good it will be dining in. So we decided to dine in and wow, what a great experience. There were five of us, parents, teen, child and toddler. The restaurant team made us feel welcome immediately. The gent received us (Mehmet) was a lovely person. The waiting staff also superb who made the entire experience very lovely. The food is outstanding. Fresh bread made in house, pide and lachmachun. All the dishes seasoned and cooked to perfection. As crazy as this sounds the shepherd salad which was prepared for us, was one of my highlights. Their doner tastes better and different to a general kebab house, also their rice they serve is lovely. Not your easy cook rice, lovely long grain, buttery and with vermicelli. It’s the simple stuff done right and better that makes all their dishes. Prices are reasonable for good quality. In this area you may not expect such quality, but it’s better to pay a little extra to get such good quality. Found my new favourite Turkish

Khan Bahi Literally the taste of home . Absolutely wonderful I never get the satisfaction the day i came in this country but today im really amassed by the taste and quality. Love it must recommend
