Tasty African Food - (Near , South East)

4 /5 Lauren: Is the food tasty and well-spiced? Yes. Are the portions large enough? Yes if you order stew like efor, egusi, etc. or any rice dish. No if you order a meat dish - £3.50 for a single meat is not a good deal. Would I order from here again? Yes for stews only. I also appreciate that they include a list of the ingredients for each dish.

1 /5 Nadia xo: My husband ordered food for collection of course expecting a normal hot meal from a restaurant, brought it back home for us to realise the food is FROZEN and I can’t even get through to the restaurant, is this what they sell to their customers and expect full payment?! Disgusting, had we been told it’s frozen we would have ordered elsewhere! Not to mentioned chicken stew with no stew…

5 /5 Latecarrot: I ordered in advance yesterday and chose the seafood okra and the designer stew for dinner. There was heavy traffic in Barking, and the restaurant was close to closing time, but the lady on the phone kindly promised to wait for me. I really appreciated that level of service. The food was excellent, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with care. I will be back very soon.

1 /5 Locations with Ajla-rae: My dad went to bring me lunch from here, and all I can say is we try to support business but sometimes it’s hard. He waited outside for 20 mins for them to open, even though they were late, there was no apology. The staff are tired which in return makes them Irritated and it Comes across rude! They have lost there happiness. The food is delivered pre packed which shows there is still a trust issue. The price of the food is like the stock market some days it up and some days it upper. The location is not talking to clean or tidy and has formed a relationship with messy and untidy. There is no point asking the staff for anything as they don’t care it would be better to install a Digital menu atleast you will get the hello on the screen. Food was rough, half of it cold the other half hot, random bits of fish bones just chilling. Ask for beef got fat covered in sauce Pounded yam gets smaller each time. I hope the management reads this so they can acknowledge the problems some people have with this place. Staff can destroy your business without you knowing My mum ate the food Me…… I’ll wait for dinner

1 /5 Chinenye Okubalu: I got puff puff this evening ( Sunday the 9th of November ,2025) from barking and saw this inside the puff puff. Was on the 2nd one when I noticed a dark stuff and decided to on the light only to see this. Staff should be careful.
