The Burger Firm Colindale - (Near Brent, South East)

3 /5 U A: Visited the newly opened Colindale branch for the first time some friends. Overall, a disappointing experience. The decor of the shop was nice, rustic and simple. Plentiful seating and parking wasn’t an issue. Customer service could’ve been a lot better. The staff members we dealt with weren’t very engaging and when we asked them a bit more about the burgers, they didn’t have the knowledge or interpersonal skills to answer these. They kept talking to each other in their native language. Food arrived: we opted for a few different things including the eggslut and pandemic burger, loaded fries. Disappointed that the food came in bags not on tray and when we asked, they said they don’t give food trays even for eat-in. This is off putting and definitely doesn’t make sense. Price to quality ratio was average. Burger tasted ok but lacked the salt content to flavour needed. The chips were ok too. I’d been going to their ghost kitchen previously and that was miles better. Might give them another go in the future but they need to seriously improvement on their customer service and get the burgers on point.

5 /5 Seys: I went for the Sweet Chic burger and got it as a takeaway since I knew it would be a messy one to eat. The food was absolutely flawless. Portion sizes were spot on honestly, even a bit too filling! The halloumi fries were decent as well. I do wish there were more options on the sides menu, maybe something like BBQ wings or anything a bit different from the usual deep fried choices. But overall, the service and food were excellent.

3 /5 Sulaiman Q: Disappointing and underwhelming experience overall.. Well start with the good: you cannot fault the atmosphere and service. We walked in and were instantly able to find seats for a family of 5. Now the not so good: extremely overpriced for what they had to offer. Paying almost £28 for two burgers on their own is extremely eyebrow raising, we expected something that would match the price and quite frankly, we did not receive that. There was nothing exactly that stood out in our meal. The pandemic burger was standard, nothing much to say about it. The loaded box was decent, nothing in specific that stands out again and lastly the nutty professor milkshake, quite underwhelming to say the least. Itd be lovely to have the food presented the way it is to these Tiktok and social media influencers, but clearly its only for them. If youre not an influence, dont be disappointed. Being served in takeaway bags is not an issue, but its the first time weve ever been served in them, even my parents were confused and I do not exactly see the point behind it, perhaps the management would be able to elaborate on their decision behind this. To conclude, my visit to The Burger Firm in Colindale was extremely disappointing and underwhelming taking all things into account, hopefully the management will take this review into account and bring much needed changes. Like everyone else, I was extremely excited to try the food seeing it over social media, and even bringing my family, but Im upset it ended up the way it did.
