The Cricketers - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Joseph Lindberg: We stopped in on the recommendation of our taxi driver, who Said that cricketers was the best pub in Southampton. After the friendly and wonderful service we received from Chelsea, Id tend to agree with him. Everything was very tasty. So glad we stopped here for dinner and a drink.

5 /5 Ian Marshall: The cricketers has a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere and has become a central venue for the nightlife of Southampton! Open until 1 AM - The Cricketers is much more of a bar vibe than a club. Food is served until 9 PM on Friday and Saturday nights. The Cricketers often have some of the best local musisicans perform and most nights there is some sort of event on. I managed to catch The Excellent Paul, Charlie and Max perform an excellent set full of 90s and 00s classics, creating a fantastic night! This is a great place to find if you are looking for a great. Night out in Southampton to watch some live music, a place to go for a meal, somewhere to go to get put the house for a quick one on your own or a place to gather the crew for a proper bar crawl. Always a great night out at the Cricketers

5 /5 peanut: Absolute lovely local in the heart of Bedford Place! Managed to fit us in for a roast fairly last minute as a previous booking had fallen through at a pub that will remain unnamed, super understanding over the phone and at the bar. Server dealt perfectly with my family and myself being awkward with stuff like not having one of those silly Erdinger glasses (great selection of beer nice to see some Belgium stuff in the fridge) and the cask having issues but still being polite and apologetic with my impatient father. Awesome roast dinner as well, cheap and cheerful but didn’t feel so, been drinking here for a while on the open mic Mondays for the cheap cask pints but definitely will come back for a Sunday roast sometime soon!

4 /5 spring wise: Really enjoyed the first vegan night at this very friendly pub. Food was lovely and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Wheelchair access was difficult, I needed help to get in and help to get to the toilet (I can walk a few steps with assistance), but once inside I could get around very well. Really hope they do another night like this one, or even better to put some of the things we tried tonight on the regular menu! The fish pie and the battered sausage were my favourite (our group of three tried everything between us, tapas style). Price was good too!
