5 /5 Lisa Collins: Nice sunway roast, says unlimited Yorkshire puds and gravy but the add on ones wernt as nice! Great stuffing balls, well worth the extra ! Meat portion small, nice lunch bit could have been a great one!! Staff very hard to grab/find and just could be raised easily! Door hanging off hinge in ladies loo, few tweaks could be great!

5 /5 Kevin Patel: My friends and I came here for dinner yesterday and we had such an amazing experience! Not only was the food incredible but the staff were so friendly and made sure that we were well-looked after! In particular, George regularly made sure that our food and drinks were perfect and that we were having a great time! We were so impressed by his service and the pub in general that we came back today for brunch only to be served by George again! Just as the day before, the food and drinks were so good and George’s friendly and caring attitude towards us made us feel so welcome! If you’re in the Kidbrooke area, then this is the best pub to visit, especially for holiday seasons!

1 /5 Bob Barry: I ordered the Dayboat Fish Fry; however, instead of fish on my plate, I discovered a pickle that had been meticulously battered. This prompts a concern for management: What if I had a severe allergy to pickles? I am/was a regular patron, and I must commend the customer service. It is satisfactory; however, the quality of the food appears to be deteriorating.

1 /5 Doruk İsaoglu: We have been regular customers at this pub since we moved to Kidbrooke. We come here 3–4 times a week with our 2-year-old daughter, and we’ve also brought friends and visiting family. We genuinely wanted this to be our local place. However, recently we’ve been repeatedly warned about our toddler “running inside.” On our last visit, staff approached us three separate times because the children (two toddlers) were moving around. We were told that some customers had complained. I fully understand that pubs need to maintain safety and comfort for everyone. But this is a family-oriented neighbourhood, and many families live here. Expecting toddlers to sit completely still for an extended period in what presents itself as a community pub feels unrealistic. If the venue prefers to operate as an adults-only environment, that is absolutely their right — but then this should be clearly communicated. Regularly reminding parents of normal toddler behaviour makes families feel unwelcome. We have always been respectful customers — we eat, drink, and support the business consistently. It’s disappointing to feel that families with young children are tolerated rather than welcomed. Because of this approach, we will no longer be returning. We would rather support places in our neighbourhood where families genuinely feel comfortable and valued.
