5 /5 Janine Weller: Our first visit to this lovely pub. Will definitely not be our last! We both had a superb huge Roast beef dinner with all the trimmings. Followed by yummy deserts. Sat by the cosy fire and enjoyed the perfect ambience in the pub. Very helpful and friendly and welcoming staff. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday !

5 /5 Simon Hodge: If I could give it 6 stars I would! What an absolute gem The Fox in Sharpthorne is. To start with a warm welcome, friendly staff where nothing is too much trouble and food that is the best of the best. It was all prepared in house and you could tell it was. From the crispy batter on the fish that came with triple cooked chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce, to the braised lamb and onion pie (it was a proper pie with a bottom), creamy buttery mash and seasonable veg with a rich gravy. The apple crumble came with generous amounts of custard and thankfully no cinnamon! We will most definitely be returning here and highly recommend a visit!

5 /5 Nathan Clark: We hired the Fox for a joint 30th birthday (my wife’s and mine) and it was just perfect. Dealing with the team was super easy, the price was more than reasonable and the food that was put out was exceptional, all of our guests were raving about how good the food was. The head chef, James, was always on hand too and made sure that all the food that was out was replenished with hot and fresh food We were able to hire a DJ too and have our own decorations up which the team helped us with too, and taking them down. Every member of the team were also so lovely and provided excellent service. We had a brilliant night and couldn’t have picked a better venue. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a private venue for any celebration or event and we will certainly be going back to the Fox for lunch/dinner/drinks and any other events we may host in the future.

5 /5 Naomi Manvell: One of the best gluten free roasts Ive ever had! And a gluten free lemon cheesecake for dessert. Friendly service and a lovely environment. Highly recommend!
