5 /5 Simon J: Just been for a lovely Sunday dinner over here and had an amazing time. Staff were wonderful, Simon was brilliant and so was Chelsey, definitely put a smile on my face today. Will be back again soon. Note : Tom, was the chef, absolutely top notch with the meal! Take it easy.

3 /5 Sian Bowron: Food was good. Bar service was great. Chef on carvery section was miserable as sin. Childs pizza took over 30 minutes to be made. Kitchen staff werent having a good day. Should have been prepared as it was half term holiday. Saw a staff member leave midshift. Pub needs a face-lift. Was clean but is in dire need of a lick of paint!!! Wont be returning any time soon.

4 /5 Marc Haines: Party of 12 visited here on a Sunday afternoon. It was very busy on arrival and seemed a little chaotic.We had a guest who was gluten free, and Sam was very knowledgeable regarding the gluten free options. Near the carvery area it was very congested and we had to squeeze past guests to get to the gravy/sauces area. Having said that the food was tasty especially the choices of meats. Simon the server was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and an asset to the service team. Well done Simon!

5 /5 Jeff Geary: Nice food, good portion size, friendly staff and atmosphere. Only thing I didn’t like is another customer brought their dog in at lunchtime but that’s just me I personally don’t like animals around when I’m eating.

5 /5 Jake Brown: Sunday 22nd February 18:35 Me and my wife came to the haywain for a delicious carvery and oh was it delicious. Although it was really busy the wait to be served at the bar and to receive are food was incredibly fast. Shout out to Simon with a 10/10 service warm welcome and very funny he loves to laugh. He made sure everything was good so well done Simon. Also massive shout out to the chef Tom at the carvery even though he was behind those hot lights for a long time because of how busy he was he was very funny and a good lad all around . Had a lovely chat with him and the food was 10/10. Definitely will be coming back and would 100% recommend as it was the best Sunday roast I have had since my mums cooking.
