The Kara Fleet - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Bríg x: My friend and I meet up regularly for a late lunch and Cocktails so we have been to quite a few places. The Kara, with its £15.95 set menu and a Cocktail bar for laters enticed us, and in all honesty it exceeded our expectations. From the moment of our arrival and throughout, the service from all was very professional, attentive, and friendly. We were even asked if we were happy with the table they had selected for us, which is a first for me. A big shout out to Ozzy who looked after us during the meal, very helpful and with a good sense of humour. The food was delicious and plenty, wine and Cocktails a reasonable price. I was very impressed when we were asked if we would like to take time to digest our starter before the main. They will even supply you with a food bag to take home, if you can’t manage it all. The decor is modern, buzzy and fun, with a crazy lighting and mirrored area to allow for taking photos on the way to the toilets. It was like being in a London restaurant, but without paying a fortune. We had allowed time for a couple of cocktails in the Cocktail bar area, and they were excellent, made to a high standard with attention to detail. As it was a Friday we enjoyed a little of the live singing by a lovely lady (believe it was Nikita KC) who interacted with us as she sang, and even said goodbye when we left. We will definitely be back.

5 /5 Ellie cree: absolutely unreal setting!! Love how everythings laid out and food/cocktails are exceptional! Had a lovely waiter, my bad, forgotten his name. He had a long ponytail was brilliant!! Staff was so good with our baby and just all round generally so polite! Will be back for sure 5 stars!!

5 /5 Agraja Wickramasinghe: Kara is an absolutely amazing Turkish restaurant. The place itself is beautiful, with a great atmosphere, and the staff are incredibly hospitable and welcoming. The food was outstanding — full of flavour and perfectly prepared. A special mention to Mass, who looked after us today. He was extremely kind, attentive, and made our experience even better. Highly recommend Kara for great food and exceptional service!

5 /5 Georgie Vaughan: My new favourite restaurant! Kara is a very refreshing environment to be due to its friendly staff and calm relaxed atmosphere, aswell as the decor being absolutely beautiful. We were greeted at the door with a lovely welcome and smile then seated by our waiter Niraj for the afternoon who was very polite, friendly and took great care of us. Niraj made sure our glasses were full, recommended some great dishes, communicated well with how long our mains would take, always made sure plates/glasses were cleared and overall gave 10/10 service. Big shout out to the chef Baran, he really knows what he’s doing and is an extremely talented cook. I ordered the beef roast and can honestly say it was the BEST roast I’ve ever had, the meat was soft and tender, roast potatoes were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside and vegetables were seasoned well. I also tried some of the chicken shish which we ordered to the table and again very soft and tender meat with great flavour. Presentation on every dish was excellent, thankyou Baran for the lovely food!
