The Kings Head, A Heartwood Inn - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Ben Gardiner: Couldn’t be happier with the service at The Kings Head. We were told that the garden was hired for a wedding later the day but the staff we happy for us to eat outside providing we ate before the guests arrived. The staff seems completely unphased and unstressed despite setting up the garden for a wedding and serving us at the same time. Superb professionalism. The food was fantastic, the scotch egg was superb and the cheese soufflé stole the show. I can’t remember the name of the dessert pictured, but it was the perfect dessert; light but rich! A great local pub at the heart of a great community in Teddington. Will absolutely visit again!

5 /5 Martin McCafferty: Its obvious this is run with structure, finesse and skill. Food was spot on, a duck cassoulet you could brag about to any French chef and a chicken pie that stopped my thought processes in its tracks. Service was of Gourmand quality and an open kitchen reminds you that you are dealing with pros. Best thing was it was opening night for the menu, and they executed without hiccup. Joe and Drew were most attentive and knowledgeable, and made this American feel like he was back home eating at their local dinner spot. Trying to figure this back into my plans before heading home, its that good.

5 /5 Lulu OHagan: What a lovely pub this is. The roast I had was excellent (though I did ask for more gravy twice as the pots are tiny) and my friend’s burger was great also. Roast prices very reasonable. Had the loveliest Australian waiter for whom nothing was a problem. My friend’s apple crumble dessert was also delicious. Very busy even for a 2 pm booking, but so well-run. I’ll definitely go back.

5 /5 M Rowan: We went for lunch to Kings Head pub yesterday and we loved it. Food was excellent, even the children menu had lovely, proper good food (not your chicken nuggets or fish fingers), really good size portions, finger licking desserts. Staff were very accommodating and helpful and atmosphere was lovely. Pub was packed, not surprisingly. Need to make a booking if you want to go. Our guests loved it too and we will all be back. Also we had 50% off on mains (if you have 2 courses) which was very good.
