siumi Nanayakkara Such an amazing experience! This was my first time trying real Sri Lankan food in the UK, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The flavours were authentic, rich, and full of warmth. The food tasted just like traditional Sri Lankan cuisine, and the overall atmosphere made the experience even more special. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy true Sri Lankan food in the UK.

Iain Solly Simply a brilliant bar. Great atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly. Beer is amazing, cider, wine, sparkling perry. This pub has won national awards even pub of the year. Food is cracking and the decor and general layout is wonderful. If you get a chance drop in you will be very pleasantly surprised!

Vani Tolusuri ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is bursting with flavor, and the highlight for me was the Piri Piri Chicken with rice. It was served hot, tasty, and so satisfying – the perfect balance of spice and tenderness. The rice complemented the dish really well, making it a complete and comforting meal. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the overall vibe of the place made it a great dining experience. If you’re looking for something flavorful and filling, the Piri Piri Chicken and rice is a must-try!

Paul Darigan £12 for chicharrón platoscombinados - fried pork belly with rice, egg, plantain and a bean soup - excellent value. Friendly guy out front offering help with the menu, the chef wanted to make sure I understood what would be on the plate too. A background hum of mostly Spanish and English being spoken, with occasional other languages too. Really pleasant vibes, and good to see the market busy as well.
