5 /5 Reza Rajabpour: This was my first visit to The New Fairlop Oak, and overall it was a good experience. The outdoor seating area is very pleasant and well laid out, and the indoor hall is extremely large, spacious, and clean, which makes it comfortable even when the place is busy. The menu is full and offers a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. I ordered breakfast, and the quality and portion size were excellent for the price, offering great value for money. The ingredients tasted fresh and the food was well presented. The staff were professional and knowledgeable, although they seemed a little impatient at times. However, service was still efficient and everything was handled properly. Overall, it’s a good spot for breakfast or a casual visit, and I would consider coming back again.

4 /5 K. Peake: This was a great pub for a drink after getting the tube service, with glass separators between the tables incorporating blue into their design! Counter is stylishly laid out and the glass section of the roof is pretty, service was also nice too. I had a Stowford Press and cleanliness was solid, bit of a cramped Spoons though.

4 /5 Jane Woodhead: Nice big Wetherspoons, plenty of outside area and big insidetoo. Pleasant staff and food that was warm and served on hot plates, and thats always a bonus.Would highly recommend it if youre in the area and like me love all things spoons.

1 /5 Joel Butt: Fish was a tiddler! Mostly batter with hardly any flesh. I ordered the small pub classic fish and chips for £9.55 including a soft drink. It really lived up to it’s name. Should have paid £11.99 and got the larger size, also including a soft drink. Anyway, not too ruffled as the chips and peas bulked it out. Ample sauces available on the sauce table in the corner. Oh, plus ordered mushy peas but received normal garden peas, but again not too bothered.

Overall, The New Fairlop Oak is a dependable local pub — perfect for casual meals, meeting friends, or enjoying a pint without breaking the bank.
