The Oyster Pearl - (Near Kent, South East)

5 /5 TM So: We loved the variety of food here! It’s rare to find a pub that serves oysters plus both Asian and Western dishes in one place. Everyone was happy with their choices.

2 /5 Steven Blench: Sorry but the place is not like it used to be, I had the mixed veg soup and pan fried scallops. The soup was very salty and the scallops were overcooked to the point they bounced onto my brothers plate as he has no tastebuds. The taste was like overcooked fishy chicken. The others enjoyed their pancake rolls, sizzling king prawn and sticky toffee pudding. The waitress said that two of the specials were not available due to them being busy. This was early Friday afternoon and the place was empty. Crab salad and mussels in wine sauce were the missing ones. I asked about the tempura king prawns not being on the specials, she said they change the menu weekly, this is wrong the specials menu hasnt changed for ages except the big favourite Tempura king prawns was taken off. Sorry San but last time for us here.

5 /5 tobi d.: Wonderful restaurant close to the beach. Portions were great + the kitchen crew (Asian) know what they’re doing even on their varied menu - good classic English + Asian dishes. Really want to come back to try more of the Asian dishes too. 3 mins walk to beach.

4 /5 sonia judge: The staff were friendly and allowed the dog, but we had to sit out of the main restaurant. The main restaurant looked lovely and would have been a nice place to celebrate our 30 th anniversary. The meal was great but we didnt like the pub atmosphere, just a shame we had to take the dog with us, she enjoyed the bowl of water though that was kindly given.

5 /5 Diana: Very beautiful Bar/Restaurant by the sea, I enjoyed a much needed treat of Fish and Chips with a drink, was served by lovely team members. Restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating areas and it was lovely to listen to live entertainment outside also. I enjoyed the space and the atmosphere, walk by the sea which made it very special.
