5 /5 Tristan Rowbotham: Most consistent, accommodating eatery in town. Makes some of the best baguettes Ive ever had, it you are nearby and its quiet youve lucked out as it can get very busy, very quick. The meal deals are outstanding value. Almost feels like Canterbury has its own little French quarter and this little independent business adds to the City in more ways than just food, its a credit to the City.

5 /5 Teechakarn Dungniroj - เมกิ: Even in a very very hot day, the freshly baked baguette from the Sandwich Bar nailed it — it really brightened my day up! The owners were very kind and friendly. I spent 15 minutes waiting for the baguette to cooked and it is worth it! I could say that this shop provides a very quality bake goods! Highly recommend : baguette + chicken mayo/salad (7£ with one big baguette + dessert or crisp and drink)

5 /5 Travis D: Owner was friendly and enthusiastic. The pan au Chocolat was freshly made with a flaky, buttery crust. Sandwiches were outstanding. Crisp but not hard baguette with generous filling. The size of the bread made a perfect proportion to the filling and the overall sandwich size was perfect. Not small but not too big. Extremely reasonable pricing. Highly recommend the lunch special. 5 /5 Richard Green: Went in for a sandwich, came out with a smile (and a sandwich). This place has such a vibrant, friendly and quintessentially French atmosphere – a hubbub of friendly chatter, happy regulars and kind folk. The sandwich was delicious and made with high quality ingredients including an authentic French baguette. An instant favourite, I will be back. Merci beaucoup bar à sandwichs!

5 /5 An arab abroad: Such wonderful owners! Everything is fresh and delicious, and I shouldve come here sooner! The french gentleman provided such lovely service, and so did the young lady! This place is an asset to Canterbury. Viva La Sandwich Bar!
