The Shears Inn - (Near Berkshire, South East)

5 /5 Mike Gong: We booked Sunday lunch on a recommendation, we were not disappointed at all . From the reservation booking , where your choice of fine meats were made available for your visit , to the lovely setting, great service and relaxed dining experience all was excellent, The meals were of s very good level with everything on the plates were cooked beautifully., cauliflower and savoy cheesy dish was fantastic, and the homemade yorkies were delicious. We would have been delighted at this point, but we went for desserts , the home made sticky toffee pudding was delicious with a perfect balance of pud and caramel sauce , but OMG , the seasonal crumble was out of this world …in all of my years I’ve never tasted anything as delicious, hats off to the chefs, and the team . As an amateur events chef and foodie this visit is right up there (the crumble takes top spot ) Thank you The Shears 10/10

5 /5 Siobhan Goss: We had the most amazing meal at The Shears Inn whilst on holiday. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, we couldn’t have asked for more but when we were struggling to get a taxi, the owner offered her son to give us a lift back! Honestly they went above and beyond for us.

5 /5 Claire Sansom: This is such a lovely pub. We did not stay here, but if the rooms are comparable to the food, service and how welcome we were made to feel, then you cannot go wrong. The food is exceptional. I really cannot rate highly enough. Thank you for making our trip all the more enjoyable! I’m sure we will be back!

5 /5 nick palmer: I met 3 friends for dinner last Friday, the food and service was brilliant, all of us enjoyed 3 excellent courses with 2drinks each about £56 pp. I would love to go back sometime. I very rarely do a review, only if my experience is brilliant or awful, and this was definitely in the brilliant category.
