5 /5 Monika: We visited Turtle Bay Milton Keynes on a very busy Saturday evening and managed to book on the website the same day, which was great. Sadly, they had run out of the Trini coconut curry, but I chose something else instead – I think it was the brown chicken – and it was absolutely lush. The meat was so succulent. Their rotis are to die for, honestly so good. My partner had the jerk chicken and really enjoyed it too. Portions are a little on the smaller side, but I feel like the prices reflect that fairly. The cocktails were amazing – strong, with a wide variety to choose from. Our order did get lost, so we waited a bit longer for our food, but the staff were incredibly apologetic and gave us a discount. It really showed that they care about their customers and are willing to fix any issues. Mistakes happen, but it’s how you handle them that matters. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the great service!

2 /5 Indiana Carter-Powell: Honestly the worst food experience I’ve had at Turtle Bay. Been our go to place for years and I hate to say it but we won’t be going back in a hurry. Ordered the vegetarian burger off the menu that now has a very small amount of veggie/vegan options. And the photo just says it all really. Mushroom was cooked awfully with no seasoning, barely any cheese and a single piece of lettuce. Safe to say I wouldn’t even call that a good looking sandwich let alone a burger. Its not that hard these days to offer decent vegetarian options and yet here we are. Ice cream scoops were also £2 a scoop and were extremely tiny which was ridiculous. Same with the price to serving ratio for the brownie. Finally, the mocktails are the same price as alcoholic drinks which is a bit ridiculous. The staff were lovely and attentive though, so shout out to Freya and Toby.
