Located on Regent Street, the restaurant has incredible history, beautiful ambiance, and a very upscale feel, all while staying warm and welcoming. I booked this place with a friend for my birthday dinner, and to my surprise they made it extra special by bringing out a birthday card along with a small cake. Such a thoughtful touch. The food was outstanding. Loved the tikka and beetroot tikka appetizers, and honestly every dish we tried was excellent. The drink selection was great as well and paired perfectly with the meal. Yes, it’s expensive, but absolutely worth it for the food, the experience, and the heritage that comes with it. Nearly 100 years of history is no small thing for a restaurant, and you really feel that legacy when you dine here. A must-visit for anyone looking for refined Indian cuisine with history and character.

Located in a prime spot overlooking Regent Street, the entire experience from start to finish was impeccable. The Food: Every dish was a masterclass in regional Indian flavors. • The Raj Kachori was a vibrant, crunchy explosion of pomegranate and tangy chutneys. • The Lamb Shank (Nalli Gosht) was incredibly tender, falling off the bone into a rich, velvety gravy topped with toasted almonds. • The Paneer Tikka was perfectly charred, and the cocktails (try the one with the cinnamon stick!) were inventive and beautifully balanced. The Service: Truly world-class. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and makes you feel like royalty without being overbearing. The Vibe: Stunning decor and a historic atmosphere. In an industry that changes every day, Veeraswamy is a survivor. I truly hope they continue to brave the storm—here’s to another 100 years of excellence! 4 /5 W S: The oldest Indian restaurant in London but despite its age, its kept up with the times giving modern takes on older dishes. The food is great and portion sizes are not pretentious (but not as much as youd get from a standard Indian restaurant) although the dessert portion sizes were small. We enjoyed the crab biryani the most. Overall, most of the dishes were tasty but I found I spent way more than I expected to here. It didnt feel like good value for money. It was a great experience and Im glad to have tried it but Im unlikely to return.

5 /5 A M: The food is absolutely incredible. The atmosphere is great although the restaurant is beginning to show its age. Service is overall great. Staff are so very polite. But the start of the show is the food. It will absolutely blow your mind. Don’t miss the soup and specially the deserts.

5 /5 Grace Yeung: Such a wonderful tasting menu and of course very good value for money in Central London. I didnt eat Indian food often so I couldnt say much about authenticity, but for sure the menu was well choreographed for a culinary experience for anyone from any food background. The curries were adventurous for me and I liked them all. Food portion was generous with a very good protein share. This is super important for me to maintain a good diet even eating out sometimes. Service was attentive and explanation was clear and succinct. Showcased a variety of culinary techniques and passion of cooking.
