Church Litten Park - (Near , South East)

3 /5 Daniel Foley: Nice enough green area in the centre of Newport with a small playground suitable for small children. Well kept and a good place to lay out if the weather is good but nothing else in the way of facilities, although some shops nearby.

5 /5 Jean Frost Smith: A little oasis in a busy town with lots of history. I walk my dog here twice a day and despite the busy traffic driving past, its a place of calm. The flowering cherry trees look lovely in the spring, two oak saplings have just been planted and there are plenty of benches to sit in the sun. My dog loves the large expanse of grass and meeting other dogs. Theres a small, well-equipped playground for younger children. Theres also a surprising amount of history to the place. Wildlife, too - Ive seen plenty of bird life, including a buzzard.

5 /5 David Brigden: A small park by any standard but nevertheless very pretty and in the centre of town so is very attractive as a lunching spot for workers and shoppers. A small but well equipped toddlers playground completes the tree ladened park making it a popular spot for families to play and picnic. Spoiled on occasion by inconsiderate users leaving rubbish on the grass rather than using one of the plentiful bins available.

5 /5 Billy Potts: Had a nice time here the other day, visited here with the family, we had been to mc Donalds so we could have a little pic nic. Church litten park is a nice place, plenty of open space, seating areas,kids fenced in play areas and well situated next to town and next to the library so if your in town for a while or you have to wait an hour for your next bus, go grab a book and sit down in the park with it.

4 /5 John David Dennis: Great place. Relaxed there with a friend for a couple of hours (dont mention the couple of beers!) And have always found it okay good place to chill after a days shopping. And cheaper than the pub..
