5 /5 Andrew Thomas: A rare example of a thatched church, and the only one on the Isle of Wight. The building dates from 1908 so isnt particularly old, but is lovingly maintained, with information about its history inside.
The church sits on a small plot of land which was donated by Lord Tennyson, at the foot of the hills of Tennyson Down. Inside, the timber framed roof, simple clear windows and light stone walls give the church a friendly atmosphere.
Theres roadside parking right outside, and the church is open daily.
