gees restaurant & bar

Gees Restaurant & Bar - Oxfordshire

Rating: 4.4 /5
Sanjana Zunjur gees is definitely the place to be for an elevated dining experience and impeccable service especially around the time we went in when it was quite busy. the food we ordered was sent to the table timely and allergens were taken care of. i had the well done lamb burger which came with chips and a mint dill dip which i still dream of! it was fresh and juicy lamb with the same spread as you get with your chips. max took care of our drinks and we had staff come in and ask if everything was alright. overall a fun night with friends.

Namaste Asian Kitchen - Oxfordshire

Rating: 4.6 /5
MellaT TravlleR I recently visited Namaste Asian Kitchen, and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious and met all my expectations — full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and great portion sizes. I tried the momos and the fried rice, and both were spot on. The staff were incredibly lovely, helpful, and friendly, making the whole experience even better. It’s always a pleasure to be served by people who genuinely care about their customers. Highly recommended if you’re looking for tasty Asian takeaway with top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Rubes Super lovely and helpful staff, yummy delicious crepes with both savoury and sweet options. Also awesome coffee!! My new favourite spot. The previous reviews must be for somewhere else as the manager Karl was very delightful when serving me, and was certainly NOT grumpy in the slightest.

The Killingworth Castle Restaurant -

Rating: 4.7 /5
Neel Dwala Beautiful historic pub, warmly welcomed, super comfy, loved the fireplace. Everything felt just right, from the service to the food to the lodgings to the bedding! We were lucky enough to spend the night for my mother’s birthday - we had a superb dinner, homemade crisps were exquisite as was the treacle bread and cultured butter. The rooms were equally wonderful, very comfortable, even some lovely welcome cookies. Breakfast in the morning was delicious - the granola and blackberry was out of this world, and the poached cacklebean eggs are simply the best. Finished off with a lovely flat white coffee lovingly made, 10/10 ! I must say an extra thanks to Rachel - her warmth and attentiveness made our experience truly special. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for - a huge thank you to her and the entire team for such a memorable stay - we can’t wait to return!
the punchbowl

The Punchbowl -

Rating: 4.4 /5
William Lock This was our second visit to The Punchbowl after a very positive experience previously and we are delighted to say that our expectations were met once again. As a family with young children, the staff and owners could not have been more accommodating for us despite the inherent chaos that comes with it. All of our food was excellent and freshly prepared with adults and children all thoroughly enjoying it and the service was exceptional throughout. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future.
