James Johnson My partner and I were in the area and decided we fancied a Chinese for dinner. We looked up local ones in the area and came across Penang Village and thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was lovely, the hospitality was good and attentive. Being the only people dinning in during our meal, I can’t say much about the atmosphere, but that didn’t bother us, as we prefer it quiet. We asked what one of the plants inside the restaurant was and ended up being gifted a rooted cutting. Highly recommend, and wish the owners / staff all the best. Certainly won’t be forgotten and will be back again when revisiting the area.

RESITA I recently visited The Arcades Restaurant in Worthing and had a really enjoyable experience. I ordered the fish and chips, along with octopus – which I tried for the very first time. The fish and chips were excellent. But the standout for me, though, was the octopus. Having never tried it before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a real highlight. It was tender, perfectly cooked, and had a subtle, delicate taste. I’m glad I stepped out of my comfort zone to try. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the service matched it – attentive without being intrusive. Overall, The Arcades delivered a great dining experience that balanced classic seaside favorites with something a little more adventurous. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Worthing.

Dan Bonham Tonight I had dinner at Fasta Fresh Pasta for the first time, and would absolutely recommend it to anyone! Everything was great and I was particularly impressed as to quick the food arrived. The restaurant is very modern and has such a calming/relaxing atmosphere in comparison to other restaurants I have been to. I look forward to coming back soon and hopefully will try the Shakshouka next time!

J C Very good service. We were seated at a corner without much interruption. Food is full of fusions indeed. The starters were quite nice. For the mains, salmon & chicken were cooked thoroughly to avoid food poisoning, which is understandable. Personally would prefer adequate amount of seasoning and just-right cooking time. Overall, it’s an option to go for before your movie next door.

info shop Best fish and chips in the area by far! Always freshly cooked, super tasty, and never greasy. Mia is lovely and provides such great customer service, you’re always greeted with a smile. The place is very clean as well, which is a big plus. Won’t go anywhere else. Ayse
