Tatiana Sales My husband and I went there last Friday. It’s a small Italian restaurant that pleasantly surprised us. We ordered a delicious pizza – the food was fresh and flavorful. We were also served a complimentary starter of crostini and olives, and for dessert, we had a tiramisu that came in a very generous, homemade-style portion. We highly recommend this place – the chef and staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. It truly has a taste of Italy in London!

Quy Anderson This place is a gem. Cash only, but don’t let that put you off. There’s a couple of cash machines less than a minute away. Really lovely fish and chips. It’s so rare to find a chippy that understands how batter should be. Fish and chips were cooked to order. Batter, light and crispy as it should be. Fish was lovely and fresh. Chips. Love how chunky they were. You can tell how clean the oil was just from the colour of the chips. Really nice and crispy coating. Staff were friendly and lovely.

CJ M A cosy and warm restaurant in Highbury. The staff are friendly, inviting, helpful and happy. The food - absolutely divine, cannot fault anything. We loved the prawn starter rolls, beef in black bean, jasmine rice and beef noodle pho (soup dish with noodles). You can also ring the restaurant, order and collect yourself (for a good price - said the waiter) OR Order through Uber/Deliveroo and pay their charges.

Shan Good hearty food, decent portion sizes, good value for money. Chef has a good heart, a good soul and I feel comfortable eating from him since he has good energy and he pours this into the food he prepares. The food is always tasty and well seasoned, I find he balances the seasoning really well. Great little Caribbean takeaway spot if you want some actual hearty and healthy food. Valentina Idrizi We spent a week in London and we had the luck to find this tiny place in Mountgrove Rd, which made us feeling at home every day and gave us the strength to visit this beautiful city. You can choose between a large variety of meals, including traditional English breakfasts and (reaaaaally delicious) pancakes, and a lot of hot drinks (their caramel latte has a special place in our heart) but the best part of this place is the beautiful staff that from day one made us feel welcomed and cared for, making us look forward to come through here every morning ❤️ Needless to say we will be coming back next time we’re in London and you should too if you want to experience what should be the true meaning of hospitality — warmth, smiles, and food made with genuine love. Sage Kitchen isn’t just a café, it’s that cozy corner of London where every bite tastes like comfort and every cup of coffee feels like a hug.
