Adam Leach We have been wanting to visit the pub for a long time but then it shut down. With it re-opening with the new owners, we took the opportunity to visit. We went on a Saturday lunch time and it was moderately busy with people both inside and outside. The inside has a traditional pub feel and vibe. The outside has a larger beer garden and playground for any children. There is a large lawn area for kids to run around or for people to sit if the weather is nice. We had mains and deserts and all of the food was fantastic. The portion sizes were generous and everything we had was tasty. The price was very reasonable for the area. The menu had around 6-7 starters, mains and deserts which meant it was easy to choose something with all the dishes being cooked fresh. I hate pubs that have huge menus. Service was good but it could be improved. Most of the staff were very young and they did try hard. It was just the little things that needed brushing up e.g. bringing spoons with hot drinks etc. so nothing major. Overall we were all very impressed and we will be back again. I would really like to try their Sunday roast. To everyone at Jekyll and Hyde, well done, you have a cracking pub.

Agy K Thaidine is a hidden gem in Chislehurst, offering a quiet and private atmosphere with a warm, welcoming feel. The food is excellent, with the Cashew Chicken being a standout—perfectly cooked with tender chicken, crunchy cashews, and rich flavors. The service is friendly and attentive, making it a great spot for a relaxed, intimate meal. Highly recommend!

Sana Insad I had an excellent experience at Sheba Restaurant on Brick Lane. They offer a wide selection of Pakistani, Indian, and Bengali dishes, and every dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and absolutely delicious. The service was just as impressive – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel very welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. If you’re looking for a restaurant on Brick Lane that serves amazing South Asian food with top-notch service, I highly recommend Sheba Restaurant. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

Tajul Islam Authentic food, wonderfully tasting, with the usual massive Turkish style portions. Id recommend the platter as it comes with an array of meat products to try. The only thing I didnt like - and its the only thing I personally dont like no matter where I go - is the kaburga i.e. the ribs. I am just not a fan of Turkish style ribs so I wont be unfair and say it loses a star for that. However, great place: cant believe Ive never bothered to ever to try it despite walking past it countless times. Would I go again? Well lets just say, at the time of writing this, my stomach is grumbling just thinking about their food. Maşa Allah to everyone there.

FELIX AMADI The Egusi soup and poundo, along with the turkey was a great dinner and I enjoyed every bit of it. A wrap of poundo was bigger than the usual I am used elsewhere. My partner enjoyed the yam porridge with fish and she would have it again when she visits again. I would gladly recommend Oxford African chopz and food to everyone looking to enjoy a well prepared African food along with chopz.
