4 /5 Amanda Greenaway: Small, beamed restaurant which had variety in the menu and not pub grub. The staff were pleasant and efficient. Both my partner and I made the wrong choice for our main meal, which was well cooked and presented. No problem parking as there is a short stay cp nearby, opposite the church.

3 /5 Clare Oree: Lovely old fashioned place with beams. Old interior design. A long wait for the food only one piece of bread warmed but tough. I had fish and i found portions to be small and fish tasted strange,strong,with slight odour. The rest of it was ok , the server was ok but told me id rather you dident sit in the laid up table but anywhere else will be ok. She was quite abrupt. It cost me 17.50 for a main.

3 /5 Mike: Many of the locals like this restaurant so we had to try it out. It’s tiny inside with only room for 12 covers. If you are not interested in the people talking loudly within arms reach of you tough luck. Some people lack ‘spacial intelligence’ on when and where to speak loudly. Nuff said. Food was okay but nothing special. Fish cakes were tasty and moist but the mains, disappointed. Although our waitress was nice the service was glacial. 40 minutes to bring the starter is probably 30 minutes too long. Meal was cheap because, for some reason no VAT on the bill. Can’t recommend which is a shame.

5 /5 F 93: Came for lunch as we were staying in the area. Really impressed by the food - homely and tasty but also very interesting. We had guinea fowl, pork, mullet as well as starters. Lots of yummy vegan and vege options also. Friendly team and a quaint, cosy building. Hope to come back soon.

From the outside, you might not expect it, but inside it’s a truly memorable dining experience — one of the best places to eat in Storrington!
