4 /5 Christie: Decided to get some breakfast (8.50isham)on my morning commute into work & thought Alfies looked quite nice! I ordered the bacon & sausage bap & a cola for £7.50, which is reasonable, with the friendly Irishman behind the counter. The bun was crispy, plenty of bacon & the sausage patty had a great herby flavour so I was very happy.
Edit: came back for just after lunch time to get some burgers for myself and husband and I have to say a few negatives - the male staff members, one from the morning & one in afternoon, were in stark contrast to each other customer service wise. For a new business its so important to train all your staff members up properly and to maintain a good level of customer service. The staff member this afternoon was not friendly at all. No welcome, no thank you and a general attitude of "I cant be bothered". Not impressed to be honest.
And the second negative is whilst the burgers are nice, the chips are just standard frozen bag chips. I saw them being pulled out of the freezer.
Not made my mind up if id return. Maybe Ill try a coffee next time.
