2 /5 J N: We really enjoyed the original Alley Cats location in Marylebone last year, so we tried the Chelsea branch with high expectations. Unfortunately this visit was quite disappointing. We ordered the New Haven-style pizza. It came with far more tomato sauce than a traditional New Haven pie - and the sauce itself was very acidic - which made the slices messy to eat. They cut it in square tavern style, causing the excess sauce to slide off and cover our hands. The crust was also thicker than it should be for this style, with a puffy centre instead of the signature thin, crispy texture throughout. The food took a long time to arrive, the service was rather lacklustre, and the seating was very tight - it felt more like a conveyor belt than a relaxed, enjoyable dining experience. It looks like it’s owned by a big corporate group rather than being fully independent, which doesn’t surprise me. We won’t be returning to the Chelsea branch. I really hope the Marylebone original is still as good as we remember. There are plenty of stronger pizza options in London at this price level.

5 /5 Khaled Oozeer: First time here, noticed the service was really attentive and Leo was really great! Ordered the garlic bites to start and then the halal pepperoni pizza, both were really good, Enough to share the pizza with the sides between 2. Will definitely be back!

New Haven Style: super crunchy, tomato sauce was right amount, could’ve done with more cheese, squares, huge, 9/10 / £16 Wild Mushroom - quite crunchy, bit too many mushrooms on top of one another, red onion jam added a lovely unique sweet flavour that i spread across the pizza, right amount of cheese, great flavour, 9.5/10 / £21, can easily be shared between 2 people or more if you’re not that hungry decent service, better to make reservation to avoid waiting but we didn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes, lovely low lit ambience
