5 /5 Lydiana Abbott: One of my favourite spots on Mare Street!! I honestly tell them every time I go their pho is the best! And so cheap! £6 chicken pho - the PERFECT lunch time portion. Their large is £9! So now I’ll put a review here so everyone can see how much I love their amazing pho. They are the nicest people too ❤️

5 /5 Lee Jerome Jardine Johnson: Had the spicy rost duck Banh Mi. It was delicious. So much meat inside , the picture doesnt do it justice. Chefs were friendly, and there was quick service despite being very busy. The only downside in the limited seating space , but on a beautiful day I went, standing outside in the sun and breeze actually improved the experience.

2 /5 Brianna Numa: Inauthentic banh mi, the bread was amazing but the rest left much to the imagination. Lettuce was an odd addition, and didnt enjoy the chilli sauce used in place of fresh chilli. Not worth the price, unfortunately will not be returning. Kind staff though.

After all these years, and all the new Vietnamese places now popping up in Central London these days, Banh Mi Hoi-An still holds its title as one of the best in London - true to the Hoi An style Ive enjoyed in Vietnam. Perfect crisp/soft ratio to the fresh banh mi, and all fillings (whatever you choose) are fresh, plentiful, and well-balanced in flavour and texture. No sad dry sarnies here! Chilli sauce is excellent, as is the Do Chua (light pickled veg). If you catch the seasonal catfish option - take it! Nice rice noodle box option for those who cant eat wheat. All topped with kind, skillfull and efficient service. As a local regular and also of SE Asian descent, I wont go elsewhere! They do sell out - a sign of just how fresh their produce is, and their local popularity - so make sure you arrive before 1230 and on Fridays, earlier.
