Clare Notley I popped into this great little cafe for a quick lunch last Sunday. It was quiet when I arrived and so I took the opportunity to sit at the long window table that looks out on to Windsor Street, through the quirky window art. The food and juice recommended to me were really delicious and the service was efficient and friendly. A real asset to the Windsor Street cafes and restaurants.

Jing Shyang Yeow Superb Indian food. Having returned from Delhi 2 months ago this place really brought back great food memories from that trip. The North Indian cuisine is on point and nicely authentic. The naan in particular is proper nice thin flatbread rather than the terrible supermarket heavy type naans served in many an Indian restaurant. The flavours and sauces sublime. Will definitely look forward to trip back here again. It’s not a very large restaurant so best to book ahead.

Sara Montag Shahs Halal is one of my favorite spots when I’m in Uxbridge. The chicken salad box and falafel salad box were both amazing — the salad mix is super fresh, and the hot sauce definitely brings the heat! Great food, great prices, and really friendly service. Can’t recommend it enough!

Whether I come in the day with my 10 month old and mum friends, or for an evening drink with my partner as part of date night, we always receive the best service! A big thank you to Tiana who is honestly AMAZING! From the moment you walk in, she makes you smile, offers a friendly service with light hearted banter and can’t do enough to make your visit exceptional. She truly is a gem! Sergeant Pepper I have had a few good meals in the Four Feathers restaurant in Iver, so I thought I’d try the Four Feathers takeaway as it’s fairly local to me. Everything about the food was delicious, certainly one of the best takeaway Indian meals I’ve had in a long time. I even had some left over for the following day’s lunch. My only issue with the Four Feathers takeaway is the kerb appeal. It is not at all inviting and would really benefit from changing the frontage from the previous tired old Chilli takeaway to a more modern shopfront which will turn people’s heads as they drive past. But the food cannot be faulted. I think I’ve found my Go to takeaway. Fast forward to a fortnight ago and I’ve discovered another problem. I had been driving all day and it was my plan to stop at the FF and pick up my dinner. As I slowed down outside the takeaway, I noticed that there was nowhere to stop and park while I went inside to order. I looked all around but to no avail. Regrettably, I was forced to go to their closest rivals and order from there.

Kenta Fujii Had their Birria Tacos and it was delicious! There was so much filling that just two filled us up. The dipping soup they gave us added to the flavour as well. Highly recommend going here. Also if you go on TUESDAY they have a discount (2 tacos for £5.99) so I would recommend going Tuesday if possible.
