Simon Lee I’ve been eating at McDermott’s for years, and was surprised to notice I had failed to leave a review sooner! Written by someone who probably eats too many fish and chips in too many locations: I reckon they’re some of the consistently best in the country. The batter is always crisp and crunchy, with perfectly cooked fish within, the chips are hand-cut, the staff are always friendly and you can even get London Pride in here for less than you’d pay at the pub! Always happy to call in, and even make an effort to visit.

The food was delicious, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can really tell care and quality go into every dish. Mark C On Friday, 28th November, my partner and I came to this lovely little restaurant on a whim. The owners were lovely and really friendly, which made for a good atmosphere. The food was really good. I had the lamb, and it melted in my mouth; my only minor criticism is that I wish it had been a little more spicy. My partner had the beef, and this was also "melt in your mouth" amazing. I highly recommend trying this place out if you havent already.
