Zhe He A fantastic new addition to Woodford. I stopped by Chuan House recently and was really impressed. The food was excellent – very fresh, full of flavour and clearly cooked with care. The Sichuan dishes are authentic but still very approachable if you’re not familiar with the cuisine. The beef dish I had was perfectly cooked and beautifully balanced with vegetables and spices. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The restaurant itself is clean, modern and comfortable, and the service was friendly and welcoming throughout. It’s great to have such a high-quality Chinese restaurant in the area. I’ll definitely be coming back and would happily recommend it to anyone nearby looking for something a bit special.

Humza Bokhari Been coming to this gym for a month and spoke to a female called Theresa, she recommended me a smoothie as it was my first time! Highly enjoyed it and I was instantly hooked. The very next day, I came to try another smoothie and Theresa asked me what I liked and then recommended the peanut butter bliss! Now I’m hooked and get it every-time after an intense workout! Bethan Roberts Really Impressed with this hotel. Room was really spacious, lots of plug sockets dotted around, plenty of room to store clothes and a large desk if you needed to work. WiFi also great. Spacious bathroom with shower and bath with toiletries. Pressure in the shower not great in the evening but fine in the morning. Good working telly which appeared to be brand new. Room was also really quiet - didn’t hear any other guests or noise. I had parking for free as I booked directly with the hotel. I believe if you book through a third party it is £10 a day. Excellent location surrounded by lots of pubs, shops and local cafes. I didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food. I did have a drink at the bar which was expensive as expected in a hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can’t really fault it - and it was cheaper than the travelodge down the road!
