3 /5 Lenora Nelson: This place looks inviting. It was busy and, there was definitely a vibe. The staff were clearly keen to please although, at times slow to respond. The cocktails were passable - we chose some of the happy hour selection which felt, a little like the alcohol content had been rationed. We ordered a selections of sharing plates as starters which worked really well, for our party. I was however surprised when I ordered, what the menu said was a shrimp dish in chilli and honey, which arrived in the form of humongous prawns - fully dressed so to speak, which were covered in the sauce but with no finger bowl, so that I could tackle the task of removing the shells. Had I known, I would not have ordered them and, this meant that, I didnt have much of a main. Sadly, I left thinking could do better

4 /5 Angie L: I’ve been to Cottons Vauxhall 3-4 times now as the food keeps me coming back. Portions are generous, flavors are great and prices are very reasonable. I personally love the roasted chicken: you can order it as a quarter (already generous in soze, see picture),half, whole, and it’s always perfectly cooked (think melting in the mouth) and full of flavor. It comes with a choice of very good salsas, which really elevate the dish. Service is friendly and attentive, though when there’s an event on it can get very busy, so a bit of patience is needed. One important downside: allergy management is poor. A friend with soy and egg allergies was essentially told there was nothing she could eat, which was disappointing and something the restaurant really needs to improve.

5 /5 Diamond 77: What a lovely restaurant serving delicious and tasty food. Good value sharing cocktails and a good range of desserts! Nice and friendly welcome from our waiter as well who was helpful. Slight, tiny moan was that the food took about 30 mins to arrive but it was worth the wait and the cocktails helped the time go by !! Clean toilets and super Caribbean decor ! Very easy to get to a five minute from Vauxhall Station. Highly recommended and Ill definitely be going again!!

4 /5 Grace: Visted Cottons for my work Christmas dinner & the food & service was very enjoyable! I had the jerk chicken wings for my starter, it was very flavourful & had the perfect amount of spice! Loved the rice & peas & chicken for my main! The desert was definitely my favourite, banana & ginger cake was really nice I’d definitely order that again! The pineapple punch & shots were very sweet! Anthony & Stephanie were so lovely, they accommodated our large group very well!
