4 /5 J N: Popped into Eat Tokyo in Notting Hill Gate for dinner, curious about its Japanese roots. It was a solid meal, worth a try. We ordered Sushi A, udon noodles, Tempura Ebi (shrimp), and some draught beers. The Sushi A was fresh and well-prepared, definitely decent for London. The udon noodles came with a warm, tasty broth, and the Tempura Ebi was crispy and light.
The menu’s massive, packed with options, which is great if you’re into variety, though it can take a minute to sift through. The staff were friendly and kept things running smoothly, and the place had a chill, laid-back vibe that made it easy to relax. The draught beers were cold and paired nicely with the food.
Overall, it was a good spot for a Japanese meal, and the prices felt fair for what we got. I’d swing by again if I’m in Notting Hill and craving sushi or tempura.
