3 /5 Gerard Rahman: I first went to this restaurant about 30 years ago and have been several times over the years. It may have been redecorated since my first visit but it is difficult to say. It is cosy and really suits a group of at least three having a good banter rather than a romantic dinner for two. The food and service are okay and the portion sizes are small but maybe that is a good thing. The prices are low at just under £9 for a biryani, thus it is exceptional value for money - deserving 3 stars. It is an average but reliable choice.

3 /5 Mo Rafi: The food is reasonable and edible but not exceptional. Considering their low prices one can reconcile with the food quality. Desserts are bland and not recommended, I ordered mango and Pistachio dessert but it quite disappointing. There was no taste or flavour at all. Overall customer services is great and waiters are lovely. However, an old aged waiter with trimmed beard appeared to be bit aggressive and non friendly but may be its due to language barrier. Furthermore, he seemed to be very selective as to which diners he speaks. As a paying customer in a dine in restaurant, one expects to be treated fairly. Bit weird but personally, I would not go back. Other staff members were helpful though.

The menu is packed with all the classics youd expect, from rich curries to freshly baked naan and crispy samosas. What truly stands out is the quality. Every dish tastes homemade, bursting with vibrant spices and rich flavors that feel both authentic and comforting. I highly recommend the Butter Chicken; it’s creamy, tender, and simply unforgettable. The aloo gobi is also a vegetarian standout, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. Whats even better is the price. You can enjoy a full, satisfying meal without breaking the bank, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch or a quick dinner. The service is friendly and incredibly fast, adding to the whole experience. If you’re looking for delicious, affordable Indian food that tastes like it was cooked with love, this is the spot. Its a true hidden gem that deserves a visit.

5 /5 M Rahman: Went with a group of friends who eat here regularly and always rave about it. I was not disappointed. It was a Friday evening and the restaurant was packed, most diners appeared to be regulars, always a good sign. We ordered a variety of dishes which were all wonderfully tasty and full of flavour. Portions were generous sizes and priced very reasonably. Service was attentive and friendly. Will certainly return again very soon.

5 /5 Fahmida Begum: Absolutely immaculate service was provided. The staff were so attentive. The food was delicious. Chicken shashlik 10/10- this has got to be one of the best shashliks I’ve tasted. The chicken was so soft and succulent. I’d highly recommend this restaurant. Not only were the food and staff excellent. The decor was rustic emulating everything an Indian restaurant should be.
