1 /5 Oana Dorofte: I ordered for delivery and was initially told the estimated delivery time would be between 35–55 minutes.
After 1 hour and 35 minutes, I called the restaurant to ask about my order and decided to cancel it. I was told that my order was being kept warm, but they were waiting for drivers. However, food quality is not only about temperature — it’s also about texture, taste, and overall freshness.
The manager said they would cancel the order, but they never did.
After 2 hours, I called again to ask them to cancel my order, as I could see that it had finally been picked up for delivery.
The lack of respect shown by the manager during my second call was unacceptable. They put the phone aside and completely ignored me for 10 minutes.
If you can’t respect your customers, then do not offer a delivery service.
I will definitely be raising this issue further with Uber and also with the EHO for further inspection.
